Switching to Salonround? The easiest way to prevent double bookings is to add appointments that are already scheduled to your Salonround calendar in the regular way. Your clients will then automatically receive the confirmation and reminder(s).

Don’t want clients to receive confirmations and reminder(s) again? Then you can block the times of appointments that are already scheduled in your calendar by using ‘Tasks’ (in this case, the appointment that was already scheduled).

How it works

Follow the steps below to block the times of an appointment that is already scheduled by using a ‘Task’.

Our team is happy to help you with this!

  1. Go to the calendar

  2. Click on ‘+ Task or absence’

  3. Select ‘Task’

  4. Select ‘Specific time’

  5. Select the team member

    Select the team member for whom the appointment is scheduled

  6. Select the date and time

    Select the date and the start & end time of the appointment

  7. Add the description

    Add the following description: Already scheduled appointment - [service name(s)] - [client name]

  8. Click on ‘Add task’


After you have done this:

✅ The times of the appointments you already scheduled are blocked in your calendar, preventing double bookings

✅ Clients do not receive duplicate confirmations and reminders

✅ You have a clear overview in your calendar of the appointments that were already scheduled
