The difference between regular discount codes and dynamic discount codes

Regular discount codes

These are discount codes that you can create and adjust yourself. You can share these discount codes on social media, for example. You can also set how many times each code can be used.

Example: It is winter and you want to give your customers 10% off. You can then create the discount code WINTER10. You can share this on social media, for example.

Dynamic discount codes

You can create dynamic discount codes when creating a newsletter or an automated marketing email. Dynamic discount codes are unique codes that are generated for each email recipient, which means that each customer receives their own code.

Example: You want to automatically surprise your customers with a discount code on their birthday. You can then create an automated marketing email that is automatically sent on the customer's birthday. You can add a dynamic discount code to this. The customer will then receive a personal, unique discount code.
