What you can fill in while adding a service
Step 1: Go to your services list and click on "Add service"
Go to "Services list" in the settings. Then click on "Add service".
A screen will now open where you can enter all settings of the new service step by step.
Step 2: Name, description and category
Here you determine how the service is displayed.
Name
Give the service a name, for example Haircut long hair.Description (optional)
This text is shown in your booking widget. Useful to give customers extra explanation.Category
Select an existing category or create a new one right away. Categories help keep your services organized for customers.
Step 3: Price and VAT
In this section you set the price and VAT.
Price
Enter the price of the service.VAT rate
Choose the correct VAT rate.
Step 4: Duration
Determine how long the service takes.
Duration
Enter how many minutes the service takes.Processing time & finishing time (optional)
For services such as coloring, you can split the service into three parts: the first part of the service, the processing time, and the finishing time. The first part and the finishing time are blocked in your calendar, so no other bookings can be made then. During the processing time – while the product is processing and the customer is waiting – you can remain bookable for other customers. The processing time can also take place during a break. This way you get the most out of your time and maximize your revenue.Buffer time after this service (optional)
If you set a buffer time, that time is automatically reserved in the calendar after the service. You can use buffer times for tasks such as cleaning up, so you stay on schedule and your day runs stress-free.
Only enter a buffer time here if you want to deviate from the standard setting of your salon that applies to all your services.
Step 5: Team members, tools and rooms
Here you determine who and what is needed for the service.
Team members
Select which team members are allowed to perform this service.Two team members needed? (optional)
Are two team members needed for this service? Then you can tick that here.Supplies and rooms (optional)
For example, link a chair or room to the service so it is automatically reserved with an appointment.
Step 6: Extras (add-ons) (optional)
You can add extra options here that can be offered with this service. For example a nourishing hair mask.
Customers can choose these extra options when booking online and you can add them when scheduling an appointment in the calendar or when checking out at the register.
Step 7: Restrictions (optional)
Here you set limits for this specific service.
Maximum number of times per day (optional)
Useful for intensive treatments.Minimum time between booking online and the start of the appointment for this service (optional)
Determine how shortly in advance customers may book this service.> Only use this setting if the minimum time for this service differs from the standard setting of your salon that applies to all your services
Maximum number of weeks or months between booking online and the start of the appointment for this service (optional)
Set how many weeks or months in advance this service can be booked online.> Only use this setting if the maximum time for this service differs from the standard setting of your salon that applies to all your services
Step 8: Available for online booking
Do you want this service to not be bookable online? You have 3 options per service:
The service can be booked online (default)
The service cannot be booked online, but is still shown in your booking widget with the message that customers can get in touch to book the service
The service is hidden in the booking widget
Step 9: Confirmation text (optional)
Do you want to show a specific text in the confirmation email for this service? Then you can do that here.
This text only applies to this service.
Step 10: Save service
Click Add new service at the bottom to save everything.
Combination services
Besides normal services, you can also add combination services. Combination services combine multiple services into one combination service, so customers can book popular combinations in one click. You can add a combination service in the settings under "Services list".
