Welcome to Salonround! In this article, we explain how you can quickly get started with Salonround. In just a few short steps, you can explore Salonround and get to work.
Step 1: Add your first service
The first thing you can do is add a service! To do this, go to 'Service list' in the settings.
Services are organized into categories, which are visible in your calendar, in the POS, and in your booking widget.
To add a service, click 'Add service'. A pop-up will then appear.
Fill in all the service details and then click 'Add new service' at the bottom of the pop-up. Your first service has been added! 🎉
Step 2: Schedule an appointment
Now that you have added your first service, you can schedule an appointment! You can make an appointment with yourself, so you can immediately see that you receive a confirmation email.
To schedule an appointment, go to the calendar. Click 'New appointment' and add the appointment.
Good to know: When you create an appointment and enter an email address, the client is added automatically!
Step 3: Check out an appointment
You can now check out the appointment! This way, you can see how easy it is.
Click on the appointment in the calendar. The appointment overview will then open. Next, click 'Check out'.
The appointment is then automatically added to the POS. Scroll down in the brown section and click 'Continue'.
You are now on the payment screen. Choose a payment method, add the payment, and click 'Pay'.
The appointment has now been paid! 🎉
Step 4: Choose the color of your booking widget
To make your booking widget perfectly match the style of your salon, you can now choose the accent color of your widget.
Go to the settings and scroll to 'Widget styling and settings'.
Open 'Widget color', choose a color, and click 'Save'. The color is now set!
Step 5: Make an online appointment with yourself
With Salonround, your clients can easily make appointments online.
This allows you to:
Save valuable time while your calendar fills itself — no more phone calls or back-and-forth messages needed
Never miss a potential appointment, because clients can book 24/7, whenever it suits them. Even when you are closed
To try it out, you can now schedule an online appointment with yourself! Here’s how:
Go to your booking link in the settings
Go to 'Link and widget code' in the settings.
Under 'Direct link to your booking widget' you will find the link where your clients can make an appointment online themselves. You can share this link, for example, on your social media.
You can now open the link yourself.

You can now make an online appointment with yourself! This way, you can see how easy it is for your clients.
You have now:
✅ Added your first service
✅ Scheduled your first appointment
✅ Added your first client (this happened automatically when creating the appointment if you entered an email address)
✅ Checked out an appointment
✅ Booked an online appointment with yourself! 🎉
